Primary function of the logistics lead is to coordinate with the team to ensure the correct transactions for shipping, receiving, and warehouse accuracy. Lead may also be responsible for maintaining some stock room materials, synchronizing transportation between manufacturing locations for WIP, FG and supplies, and managing absence records for the group.

Education:

       High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

       2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. 2-4 years receiving/shipping experience desired

Special Skills:

 

 

  • Perform inventory transactions (inclusive of adjustments, issues, receipts, transfers, etc.) where required.
  • Receive and deliver all incoming materials, equipment and packages to proper locations.
  • Prepare shipping transactions and input into system.
  • Perform AS400 transactions with high degree of accuracy.
  • Upload product from trucks at loading dock (skids, boxes, packages, etc).
  • Compliance with all aspects of ESD, safety and housekeeping will apply.
  • Maintenance and proper filing of all related paperwork.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and hand jack pallets after proper company certification and safety training.
  • Valid driver's license with good driving history.
  • Responsive to urgent shipment/delivery requirements.
  • Maintain proper replenishment of clean room garments.
  • System reconciliation of incorrect transactions.
  • Ability to operate a computer and learn operations software.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel proficiently
