Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:

-Participate/Lead fabrication process development initiatives:

-Work with Senior Process Engineers to develop fabrication and test processes to support material characterization

-Mask set design

-Process design in collaboration with customers

-Operations support of fabrication tool set:

-Photolithography tools

-Wet and Dry etch tools

-CVD deposition tools

-Metal deposition tools

-Preventative maintenance and calibration management

-SPC monitoring/development

-Throughput and utilization tracking

-Specification and qualification of new tools

 

Broad based experience with general fabrication processes is essential.  The ideal candidate would have an understanding of compound semiconductor device physics and processes associated with device manufacturing in a clean room environment.  The candidate must be flexible with their work schedule to maintain a 24/7 production platform shared amongst team members.  The candidate must have excellent communication skills and have demonstrated success working in a team environment.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

-B.S. or M.S. degree in ECE, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or similar

-The ideal candidate would have 3+ years' industry experience and demonstrated skills in the following:

          -Fabrication Process development for support of epitaxial characterization

          -Vacuum systems

          -General electronic troubleshooting

          -Semiconductor device physics

          -Semiconductor characterization tools

          -Yield improvement

          -Six Sigma methods and associated skills

          -Design of Experiments (DOE)

          -Statistical Process Control (SPC)

          -SQL query development

          -ISO 9000 Quality standard
