 Manufacturing Supervisor - Night Shift

 Shift Schedule:

Night Shift - 6:00PM to 6:00AM

Work Schedule: Week One - 3 days on/ 4 days off

                           Week Two - 4 days on/ 3 days off


We are currently seeking a Supervisor for our Night Shift (6PM-6am) to join our growing production facility located in Pine Brook, NJ. We are conveniently located close to Routes 80, 287, and 46. We are looking for a self-motivated, disciplined individual to be responsible for the efficient operation of our production processes.   In this role, you will report to the Production Manager and you will be responsible to perform the following:


  • Supervises the operation and maintenance of equipment for crystal growth, characterization and fabrication related process equipment and insures procedures are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
  • Organizes and tracks customer orders and samples. Identifies bottlenecks takes corrective action.
  • Plans timely shipments to customers and verifies that all documentation is included.
  • Ensures all production areas are maintained at the appropriate level of cleanliness.
  • Actively participates in writing related procedures in accordance with ISO 9000 guidelines.
  • Responsible that relevant safety and health regulations are understood and complied with in the manufacturing operation.
  • Assists Production Manager with the development of work schedules for daily activities based on production requirements.
  • Monitors and maintains all equipment, physical inventory of all consumables, supplies and spare parts.
  • Provides status reports and alerts team when quality is jeopardized due to process variations.
  • Leads hiring of manufacturing staff, resolves employee issues, prepares personal improvement plans (PIP), if applicable.


  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. Supervisory experience a must. Technical Associate or Bachelors' degree preferred or the equivalent.
  • Experience in process development in a technology based environment.
  • Experience in the use of state-of-art precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and issues in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Capable of developing and training new employees.
  • Experience with problem analysis and resolution at the functional level.
  • Able to develop plans, set goals, to evaluate work accomplishments and provide effective feedback is required.
  • Experience with networked PC based computer system (MS Office Suite, Spreadsheets, Graphics and Email)
  • ITAR compliance requirement: Individual must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
