  • Attends daily production meetings to go over daily priorities, reviews all fab equipment updates and has a general knowledge of all fab equipment statuses.
  • Coordinates with production to schedule preventive maintenance to ensure PMs are in compliance.
  • Identifies team(s) skills and coordinates on upskilling the team(s) as needed working with Equipment Engineering and creating temporary shift modifications on an as-needed basis.
  • Escalate equipment issues as needed.
  • Handles timecards, shift scheduling, etc.
  • Assists equipment repairs and PMs as needed.
  • Leads breakage investigations when they happen to find root cause.
  • Helps to train technicians on equipment and process.
  • Resolve issues via root cause analysis and develop plan to eliminate or minimize repeat issues.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor equipment, electrical & vacuum theory and processes.
  • Monitors spare parts inventory and stocking levels.
  • May be required to adjust schedule from time to time.


  • Previous supervisory experience a must.
  • BA and 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance.
  • AA and 7 - 10 years of experience in equipment maintenance. Equivalent Military experience will also be considered.
  • Prefer 2+ years working experience in the semi-conductor industry
  • Training in the handling of hazardous chemicals, gases, and materials LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze technical procedures, documentation, instruction manuals, and or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, technical specifications, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers and management. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
