  • A minimum of [10] years in managing and import/export compliance programs.
  • B.A. or B.S. in business or related field required.
  • Knowledge of government trade regulations and licensing policies and practices, including the Office of Foreign Assets Controls (OFAC), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR).
  • Experience with implementing trade compliance programs, including policies, processes, goals and metrics.
  • Experience working cooperatively with other functions (legal, finance, human resources, marketing, business development, supply chain, engineering) and business units to achieve trade compliance goals.
  • Experience in finding solutions to trade compliance issues.
  • Experience in analyzing trade compliance scenarios and applying compliant solutions that achieve business goals.
  • U.S. Customs Broker license preferred.

Special Abilities

  • Knowledge and understanding of U.S. import/export laws and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Identify trade compliance risks.
  • Proficient in PC-based environment and software (Microsoft Office).
